Membership FAQs

What is The Roost?

The Roost is a family club where parents and kids can both enjoy time with friends in a homey, healthy, and happy environment. It's like going to an awesome friend's house, any time you want.

Who can join The Roost?

The Roost is for families with children. We're mainly designed for kids aged 0-6 and their grownups, but older siblings are always welcome! We have spaces and age-appropriate games for children up to age 10-12.

What activities are available?

The Roost offers a rotating collection of toys, games, and activities that encourage kids to play and engage without screens. Our Community Leaders also run multiple activities throughout the day, such as music, art, and storytimes.

The Roost is a social club, so please treat it like you would any other playdate! Take the chance to relax, chat, and have a coffee. (In other words, no laptops or doomscrolling, please.)

Can I get some work done while my kid plays?
Can I bring guests?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a guest! We just ask you to limit guests to one family at a time. If the same guest is coming regularly, we ask that they get their own membership.

I have a big and/or blended family, or lots of caretakers like grandparents and aunts. Do I need to pay extra?

A family is a family, no matter the shape or size. At The Roost, your whole family is covered with one membership, whatever that looks like for you.

My kid has special needs. Can you accommodate them?

We would be delighted to! As a pleasant, low-sensory space we're already a welcoming environment for neurodivergent kids, and we're always here to help with whatever you need. Just ask.
